It's been another entertaining day of Test cricket at Adelaide which started with the strong fight put up by the West Indies lower order batsmen to push them past the 450 run mark. But it was all Australia from that point on as they piled on the runs. Shane Watson and Simon Katich remained unbeaten, having shared a 174 run opening stand.
Watson was left stranded on 96, just four short of his first Test match century which would give his confidence a much needed boost and in cementing his position at the top of the Australian batting order. It will be interesting to see how things shape up on the third day at Adelaide
